ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WENY) - A Beaver Dams woman has been sentenced for her role in a multi-county meth ring.

39-year-old Wendy Kennedy was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine. She will spend 24 months in prison.

Between June 2012 and May 2016, Kennedy gave her brother and co-conspirator Scott Kennedy equipment and materials knowing her brother would use them to make meth. Kennedy also obtained meth from her brother and distributed them to her own customers.

Federal authorities say Scott Kennedy distributed large amounts of methamphetamine with and to people through Schuyler, Chemung, and Steuben counties.
