UPDATE: 7-year-old found safe, reunited with family

Corning Police say Brianna has been found safe and has been reunited with her family.

They say they appreciate everyone's help.


CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - Police in Corning and Elmira are asking for the public's help finding a missing child.

Brianna Rhodes is a 7-year-old, biracial girl. She's about 4 feet tall, approximately 68lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. She attends Hugh Gregg School in Corning.

Police say she may be with unknown friends or family at this time. She is being sought so that she can be reunited with her family. She was last seen in the City of Corning but may be with friends or family somewhere in the Southern Tier.

Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact Elmira Police at 607-737-5626 or Corning Police at 607-962-0340 Ext 1500.
