Elmira man indicted for alleged assault on infant

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - A Chemung County grand jury has indicted an Elmira man for allegedly fracturing a six-week-old infant's arm and collarbone.

According to court documents, 22-year-old James Gaige was indicted on two counts of Assault.

He's accused of intentionally fracturing the infant's right arm and collarbone.

He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
