Information Session Regarding Possible Trash Incinerator Project in Romulus
Romulus, N.Y. (WENY)-- Residents in the Town of Romulus will have a chance to learn more about a proposal to put a trash incinerator at the sight of the former Seneca Army Depot.
Residents have been voicing their concerns about the $365 million "waste to energy plant" project. Some say the plant is not safe, and don't want to see the potential project move forward. The town's attorney says the project is in the beginning stages and could take upwards to a year before anything comes of it.
There will be an information session on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the Romulus Central School Auditorium.
