Mansfield University students help with water filtration projects in PR

AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO (WENY) - A group of Mansfield University students has been helping with recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.

The group arrived in Puerto Rico Wednesday. They've helped with two water filtration projects for the group "Water Filter for Puerto Rico".

According to the group's website, both projects were in Aguadilla, the hometown of MU staff member Edgard "Gardy" Domenech. The students helped build filtration systems at a church and at a makeshift market.

The students are expected back state-side this week.
