ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The world-wide phenomenon "Stomp" is visiting the Clemens Center for the next two days, and they're ready to make some noise!

"Stomp" has grown from a street performance to an international sensation over the past 20 years. The show has performed in over 50 countries during that time in front of more than 24 million people.

Performers bring everyday objects to life to create percussion, combined with visual movement for the show. 

Organizers say you will never look at trash cans, shopping carts, or pots and pans the same way again. 

"What is 'Stomp'? 'Stomp' is making music from the mundane. We're taking regular everyday objects and creating - we using choreography, we use rhythm we make music with it and it's something that appeals to almost everybody," says Jeremy Price, Resident Director and Performer. 

Stomp will be at the Clemens Center Tuesday and Wednesday with performances at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets range from $29.50 to $59.50. and can be ordered online or by calling the Clemens Center Box Office.
