Elmira woman facing charges for selling cocaine

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) - An Elmira woman is facing charges for allegedly selling cocaine.

Brenda Palmieri, 54, was arrested on a Superior Court Warrant for two counts of 3rd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and two counts of 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Elmira Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team into the sale of cocaine in the city. 

Police also executed a search warrant at a home in Elmira Friday. During the search, police say they found about 13 grams of cocaine, narcotic paraphernalia, and cash.

Police say Palmieri has a prior convicition of selling cocaine.
