CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Families and International visitors alike flocked to The Corning Museum of Glass Monday for their winter break events.
It was not your typical winter Monday, as the museum was a buzz, with many families observing the glass making process. From flame working demonstrations to glass breaking tests, there was something for everyone to see.
Eric Meek, the Manager of Hot Glass Programs at CMOG added, "It's great to see the museum energized with families over winter break. It's a perfect time for the locals to come in here and experience the museum."
Meek adds there are a lot of programs available all week long for kids of all ages and adults.
"Lots of fun things going on. We have a you design it we make it, where the kids can do drawings, and the glass makers pick one of those drawings and they'll make it daily. Also, as always, kids and teens are free so seventeen and under is free admission to the museum. So, another great reason to come and visit us."
