Home Invasion Suspect Pleas Guilty to 2nd Degree Burglary

Chemung County, N.Y. (WENY)-- One of the suspects involved in an armed home invasion in Horseheads has pleaded guilty for her part in the crime.

     17-year-old Olivia Maycumber pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Burglary in Chemung County Court Friday morning. The plea comes in exchange for youthful offender status and no state time. She still could face time in jail, and probation. Maycumber admits to driving her co-defendants to the victim's home on Overlook Drive in Horseheads the night of the crime. As part of the plea deal, she'll cooperate in the case against her co-defendants. Maycumber faces up to a year in prison, and 5 years of probation for her role in the crime.

    Maycumber will be sentenced on April 20th.
