CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - A Tioga County, New York man is facing drug charges in Steuben County.
Early Thursday morning, Corning Police officers on patrol spotted a man acting suspiciously. That man was later identified as 43-year-old Barton resident Arthur Bidlack. Police say during their interaction with Bidlack, they determined he was wanted on active warrants from Chemung County.
Police took him into custody. While arresting Bidlack, police say they found heroin.
He's charged with 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Bidlack was sent to the Steuben County Jail on $25,000 bail. He will reappear in court at a later date.
