Posted: Updated:

ITHACA, NY (WENY) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery in Ithaca and need the public's help finding the suspect.

The robbery happened last night just before 9:00 p.m. Monday, on Elm Street between Elmcrest Circle and West Village Place.

Police say the victim, a Domino's delivery driver, was in the area when a man walked up and demanded all of their cash.

We're told the thief searched the delivery driver's pockets, then pulled out a small hand gun and demanded money a second time.

Police tell us the suspect fired the gun in the street twice before running off with about $30 and some credit cards.

The suspect is decribed as a thin white male, about 5'7', wearing dark pants, a black hoodie, and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ithaca Police at 330-000.
