Three Elmira residents arrested in connection to body found in dumpster

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Three Elmira residents were arrested in connection to a body found in a dumpster on Elmira's Southside.

36-year-old Fabian Bonaparte, and 20-year-old Kharii Monroe were charged with 1st Degree Manslaughter. An unnamed 17-year-old male was also arrested and charged with manslaughter.

The suspects were sent to the Elmira City lockup pending a Wednesday arraignment.

The name of the deceased victim will not be released until the victim's family has been notified.

According to records from WENY News and the New York State Department of Corrections, Bonaparte was arrested in 2011 in connection to a stabbing in Elmira. He was sent to prison in 2012 for felony assault, and released to parole in 2014.
