ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) - The Ithaca Police Department is working to investigate an alleged math lab after a robbery suspect barricaded himself in his Ithaca home.

As WENY previously reported, Ithaca Police were searching for the man responsible for a robbery on Elm Street. They were able to identify that suspect, who then barricaded himself inside an apartment Tuesday night on West Village Place.

After several attempts, the man surrendered to police and was taken into custody by the Ithaca SWAT team.

After he was in custody, police found what they believe was evidence of a small meth lab inside an apartment.

Ithaca Police have not released the suspect's identity. They say they will release more details at a later date.
