The Heaviest Snow Stays East

Low pressure passing through the Twin Tiers Tuesday night will result in 1-3" by daybreak Wednesday morning.  A nor'easter will develop along the coast on Wednesday with an additional inch or two possible across the Twin Tiers.  Heavier snow is likely east of Elmira with significant accumulations expected near Binghamton.  Lingering snow showers are likely Thursday and Friday with minor additional accumulations possible.
