ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- People in the Southern Tier could choose to shine at the third annual 'Paint the Night Pink'. The charity gala was held at the Elmira Country Club and raised money for Falck's Patient Services Fund. Falck's offers financial help to families spending their days undergoing treatment, therapy and fighting for their lives. This year's gala had everything from live music, to runway shows and silent auctions. All while raising money for a local cause.
"We just want to raise money and raise awareness, and we want to thank the community for coming out and joining us and then also, the nurses and the doctors and all the people who care for our loved ones," said Paint the Night Pink creator and owner of ECG Promotions, Alisa Parmenter. "We just want to thank them."
Parmenter says this year's gala sold out, selling over 400 tickets. To learn more about the gala, you can visit their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/paintthenightpink/.
