CORNING, NY (WENY) -- It may not feel like it quite yet, but Spring is here and there is a lot happening in Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes.

WHAT: Tapas & Wine Weekend
WHERE: Keuka Wine Trail
WHEN: April 14-15. 10am-5pm
Who doesn't love sampling bites of a variety of scrumptious appetizers? Join us as we savor the star of every social gathering - the hors-d'oeuvres! Each winery will prepare savory and sweet bites with suggested wine pairings.
WHAT: School’s Out! Spring Break Art-Making Workshops
WHERE: The Rockwell Museum
WHEN: April 23-27, 9am-5pm
The Rockwell Museum makes it easy to get out of the house and into meaningful family fun. Enjoy your stay-cation with a different artful activity each day of the week, totally free of charge. Explore the galleries with an Art Hunt or I-Spy game, and get creative in our Family Exploration Studio. Registration is encouraged for these engaging art experiences.
WHAT: Urban Arts Crawl
WHERE: Corning ’s Gaffer District
WHEN: April 27, 5pm-8pm
Artist talks, demonstrations, exhibition openings, public art projects, live music, craft beverage tastings and more make The Crawl a truly festive and diverse experience.
*This month, The Rockwell Museum will once again partner with Corning Community College Theater Department for a dramatic, student-directed interpretation that brings Rick Bartow’s painting, 'Dog, Deer and Me,' to life at 6pm and 7pm.
WHAT: Arts in Bloom
WHEN: April 28, 10am-7pm and April 29, 12pm-5pm
Open Studio and Gallery Trail, where you get to visit artist studios and galleries, meet the artists, watch them create, and learn what inspires their amazing work. As a FREE community event, Arts in Bloom strives to make art accessible to the entire region and to aid in the understanding and appreciation of the art that is being created in our own backyards.
