WAYLAND, N.Y. (WENY) – The New York State Police at the Wayland barracks have arrested a 45-year-old man following the report of a domestic disturbance in the town of Wayland.

According to police, Adam Parsons is being charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt and one count of Harassment.

Parsons allegedly struck the complainant, violated an active stay away order of protection and fled the residence.

As troopers were actively seeking Parson's whereabouts, they received a second domestic disturbance call from the same Wayland home.

Parson allegedly returned to the complainant's home, thus violating the order of protection a second time.

Parsons was arraigned in the Town of Wayland Court and sent to Steuben County Jail without bail.
