BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- Two people from Bath are behind bars after police say they were manufacturing meth while in their home with children.

Anthony Cagle, 29 and Danielle Smith, 24 are each facing one count of Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Those arrests come after a joint investigation with Steuben County Child Protective Services.

According to police, the pair manufactured, possessed and used meth while inside their home with children under the age of seventeen.

Police executed a search warrant at the couple's home on Campbell Creek Road. There police say they found a "one-pot" style meth lab, lab equipment, numerous chemicals, smoking paraphernalia, multiple quantities of meth, a burn barrel where expended items were incarcerated and over $400 in cash.

Cagle and Smith were arraigned in the Town of Bath Court and sent to the Steuben County Jail, both on $25,000 cash bail.

Police say further charges are forthcoming, pending lab testing at the scene.
