LINDLEY, N.Y. (WENY) -- A driver had to be airlifted to the hospital after a crash on Interstate-99 near the Pennsylvania border near Lindley.
The driver was picked up by a helicopter at the Gang Mills Fire Department, after the driver was taken to a landing zone via ambulance. According to New York State Police, the driver was flown to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. The single car crash happened on the interstate, between Lindley and the state border, around 4:30 Thursday afternoon.
Troopers say the driver had a head injury, but it didn't appear to be life threatening. Troopers also say that the driver may have been drunk at the time crash.
There's no word on the name or condition of that driver.
