Burglary in Tioga Co. Results in $38,000 Worth of Stolen Items

Union Township, P.A. (WENY)-- Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the person or people responsible for breaking into a Tioga County home and stealing around $38,000 worth of items.

     The burglary happened at a home in Union Township sometime between July 8th and 11th. The suspect(s) cut the master lock on the garage door, and damaged the house door as well. The items stolen include $471, three TV's, two laptops, two laptop cases, several stereo speakers, a CD player, a DVD player, a tool chest valued at $3,000, a number of hand tools valued at $15,000, two generators, an air compressor, several lawn tools and appliances, power tools, and a battery jump starter.

     Anyone with information about the burglary is encouraged to call Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield.
