Corning Museum of Glass' GlassBarge Arrives in Watkins Glen this Weekend

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) – The GlassBarge will be arriving at the Seneca Lake Pier after it's statewide travels this summer.

The tour commemorated 150 years of glass making in Upstate New York.
The events will be going on from Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16.

Public glass making demonstrations are planned on the barge from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday; 9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday; and 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday.

Friday, September 14

Glass in the Glen “The Market” 12pm – 9pm

Live Music – Donna the Buffalo (Seneca Harbor Park) 6pm – 9pm

Fireworks over Seneca Harbor Park (sponsored by WENY, Lilly Family Farms and Hector Handmade) 9pm

Saturday, September 15

Glass in the Glen “The Market” 12pm – 9pm

Live Music – The Destination (Seneca Harbor Park) 6pm – 9pm

Fireworks over Seneca Harbor Park (sponsored by WENY, Lilly Family Farms and Hector Handmade) 9pm

Sunday, September 16

Glass in the Glen “The Market”12pm – 5pm

Live Music – Sim Redmond Band (Seneca Harbor Park) 2pm – 4pm
