Montour Falls Woman Arrested After Allegedly Making Meth

MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WENY) – A Montour Falls woman is behind bars after allegedly making meth in her Montour Street home. 

According to the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office, 20-year-old Rachel Pyhtila was arrested during the night of September 11.

She has been charged with Unlawful Manufacture of Meth in the Second Degree after allegedly being found in possession of numerous materials used to the production of Meth in her Montour Street Home.

Pyhtila was sent to the Steuben County Jail on $5,000 dollar bail.

The Schuyler County Sheriff's Office was assisted on-scene by the New York State Diction of Parole as well as the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Unit.
