Wellness Expo Held to Benefit American Legion

ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Elmira Heights American Legion was abuzz with activity, thanks to the first ever Wellness Arts Expo. The expo benefits the American Legion and the Wellness Arts Network who co-hosted the event.

With 50 different vendors on hand ranging from local honey to botanical body products, there was something for everyone to check out. There was also a table of donated health and wellness related door prizes to be won, with all of those proceeds going to the American Legion. At the expo, Wellness Arts Network Owner Beverly Kennedy told WENY, "The reason we are doing this is to expose the Wellness Arts Network members to the community."

"We want to let them know that there are phenomenal products and services being offered here in the region. You don't have to go to New York City or California to find these kinds of people and their specialties."

Organizers were very happy to see the community interest and hope more expos like this one will be held going forward.
