UPDATE: Elmira Heights Police looking for two people of interest in suspected meth lab

UPDATE (3:45 p.m.) The Elmira Heights Police Department says they are looking to speak with two people of interest in relation to the fire. 

They are 37-year-old Chad White and 21-year-old Jared Voorhees.

ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) – Elmira Heights Police are investigating a house fire after they say it was caused by a meth lab.

Calls for the fire, which was at a home on Lounsbury Avenue in Elmira Heights, initially came in Saturday morning just before 8:00.

According to the Elmira Heights Fire Department, no one was in the home at the time of the fire.

Police say they have several people of interest, but they have not released their identities yet.
