Yates County man arrested after allegedly urinating on victim during domestic

PENN YAN, N.Y. (WENY) – A Penn Yan man was arrested after police say he fought with a woman, urinated on her and damaged several of her belongings.

Penn Yan police say 26-year-old David Zimmerman was arrested after an investigation into a reported overnight domestic.

Police say Zimmerman fought with the woman and during the fight, he pulled her by the hair and urinated on her. Zimmerman also allegedly damaged several electronics owned by the victim.

He was arrested and charged with Felony Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and Violation Harassment in the Second Degree.

Zimmerman was additionally charged with Felony Aggravated Family Offense due to having a prior conviction from a past domestic incident.

Zimmerman is being held in the Yates County Jail and will be arraigned next week.
