Bradford County, Pa. (WENY) -- The deadline to apply for a disaster loan for physical damage from the flood over the summer has arrived.
Residents who want to apply for financial assistance through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to cover flood damage have until February 11th to get the application in. Anyone affected by the flooding on August 10th-15th 2018 in Bradford County, PA, and Broome, Chemung, and Tioga Counties in New York can apply.
Businesses and nonprofits can apply up to $2 million to repair or replace disaster damaged real estate, machinery, equipment, inventory, and other business assets. Homeowners can apply up to $200,000 to repair or replace disaster damaged real estate. Homeowners and renters can apply up to $40,000 to repair or replace damaged personal property including automobiles. The SBA determines loan amounts and terms based on each applicant’s circumstances.
Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
