As a low pressure system continues to track towards the northeast, rain becomes more likely through the afternoon across the area. Showers may be a bit heavy at times, with temperatures staying mainly in the middle 40s throughout the day and winds out of the east staying relatively light. By late day highs should graze 50 degrees, with temperatures through the overnight falling through the 40s and bottoming out near 34 degrees. Overnight periods of rain will continue, and may switch type as temperatures drop near freezing.
