Avoca woman arrested for Hornell overdose case
HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- A woman from Avoca is behind bars after police say she gave drugs to a person who later overdosed.
The overdose happened in Hornell, and police say they immediately started an investigation.
According to the Hornell Police Department, 29-year-old Bailey Haar, was charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, and assault.
On June 2nd, Hornell officers responded to an overdose that involved a 36-year-old man. Ultimately, that man survived, but officers say they had to use two doses of NARCAN.
Haar was arraigned and sent to the Steuben County Jail.
