ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WENY) -- Two more defendants have been sentenced in connection to the Twin Tiers fentanyl trafficking ring. One defendant is a man from Elmira.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York, 25-year-old Deven Hill of Elmira, was sentenced to 3 years and a month. He was charged with conspiracy. Also sentenced, 30-year-old Robert Elford of Oneida, N.Y. Elford was handed down a 10-year sentence.

Prosecutors say Hill and Elford took part in the "large-scale opioid manufacturing and trafficking organization that operated in the Southern Tier of New York between 2015 and May 2017." Both Elford and Hill were described as street level dealers who sold fake percocet pills that contained fentanyl.
