Addison woman arrested after 16 dogs seized
ADDISON, N.Y. (WENY) -- An Addison woman was arrested and ticketed for allegedly failing to provide proper shelter for dogs left outdoors.
According to New York State Police, Susan L. Clark was given an appearance ticket. The investigation began when Troopers responded to 2969 Mose Road in the Town of Addison on Monday. Troopers assisted the local dog warden after reports of "numerous dogs" running loose in the area, along with dogs being kept without adequate shelter.
In total, 16 dogs were seized by the SPCA. State Police say the 10 adult dogs and 6 puppies are now being cared for.
The investigation is on-going.
