Woodstock 50 ticket sale postponed
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tickets for the 3-day festival were supposed to go on sale Monday, but according to an article by Variety and Billboard, the sale has been postponed.
According to Variety, agents representing several artists received notification of a hold on the scheduled Monday ticket launch. There's no word yet on when tickets will be available for purchase.
Because of the postponement, rumors around the fate of the event have been swirling. Festival promoter Michael Lang dispelled rumors in a statement to Billboard on Friday night.
There's still no official price for the tickets, and as WENY News first reported last month, no single day passes will be available.
More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the event being held at Watkins Glen International.
