It's another mild one for today, but showers and thunderstorms will develop across the region as a cold front presses through later today. Out ahead of the front, which arrives during our afternoon, highs will be approaching 70 degrees today. The rain and potential t-storms will begin to pop up along with the front, continuing through the evening hours. Rainfall amounts will average 0.25" to 0.50" with localized higher amounts where thunderstorms develop. This could lead to some localized flash flooding issues in spots as well. High pressure will return on Saturday afternoon with drier conditions expected. Some sunshine will break through late in the day with highs in the mid 60s. Highs will reach into the mid 60s again for Sunday, with rain showers.
