According to Billboard.com, the original Woodstock 50 investor, Dentsu, was forced to put $18 million into an escrow account pending the outcome of the court battle between Woodstock 50 organizers and the Japanese investment company.

This development comes after several weeks of turmoil that started when the former investor, Dentsu, pulled its financial support from the festival in April and claiming the event had been canceled, festival organizers announced American investment bank Oppenheimer & Co. are the new financiers.
