HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Traffic was briefly blocked on Old Ithaca Road in Horseheads Thursday afternoon for a car crash involving a school bus. The crash happened around 5PM near the Horseheads Brewing Company. According to Troopers on scene, no one was injured after a teenager driving a silver sedan crossed over the center line. 

Police say the silver sedan ended up hitting the back tire of a school bus, operated by Terp's Enterprises. WENY News was told that there were no students on board.Troopers say at the time of the crash, the teen told authorities that he was reaching into his backseat because he thought his graduation gown flew out the window. Both the school bus and the sedan had to be towed away. The teen driving the sedan was ticketed for unsafe lane movement.
