Police: Man arrested after allegedly selling, possessing meth
BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- A man was arrested at a Bath-area motel after police say he was selling meth in the Village.
Police say 40-year-old Ted Hackett was arrested at the Holland American Motel on two superior court warrants, charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree and two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, all felonies.
According to the Village of Bath Police Department, Hackett sold meth on at least two occasions in Bath. Additionally, police say when he was arrested, Hackett was found to be in possession of crystal meth and was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Hackett was arraigned in Steuben County Court and sent to the County Jail on $10,000 bail.
