Ithaca police arrest woman in connection to stabbing
ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) - Police arrested a woman in connection to a stabbing that happened on May 28th.
Investigators with the Ithaca Police Department arrested Ashley Bryan on June 6th. Police say Bryan has been charged with Assault in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony. Bryan was arraigned with counsel in Ithaca City Court and was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to reappear in Ithaca City Court on June 19, 2019.
According to the Ithaca Police Department, on May 28th at about 1:17 pm, officers responded to a stabbing behind a commercial business in the 200 block of Elmira Road. Officers arrived on scene and located a 34 year old female who had been stabbed in the hand and forearm. Officers observed a stab puncture wound on the female's arm and summoned Bangs Ambulance to the scene. This female was treated on scene by Bangs Ambulance.
