ITHACA, N.Y.(WENY)--For 30 consecutive years, Taste of the Nation has been raising money for the No Kid Hungry campaign, working to end childhood hunger. The event included over 70 different restaurants, wineries, and breweries which donated their time and resources to help raise as much money as possible for the children.

"We are incredibly privileged, the culinary community really rallies around the idea that no kids should go without three meals a day. And so we are very fortunate that they have been supporting us for years. This is the 30th year of Ithaca's Taste The Nation and every year it just gets bigger and bigger and better and so it's a fun night for those how come out," says Jessie

Before tonight, the events total money raised has been more than $900,00.00 for four local beneficiaries which include the backpack program, Youth Farm Program, Healthy Food For All, and Hunger Solutions New York.
