ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- ChamberofCommerce.org released its list of the best cities to live in New York, and Ithaca is right at the top.

Ranked second after New York City, Ithaca tops the chart for its character and community-feel.

Researchers gathered information from the U.S. Census Bureau in a study of over 2,500 cities.

Rankings were determined by weighing five factors -- employment, housing, quality of life, education, and health.

Lancaster and Tonawanda also made the list, ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.
