ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A woman who posted ranting YouTube videos before she was accused of a random killing in western New York will remain in a psychiatric center for at least another year.
After a court hearing Friday in Rochester, Holly Colino was found still to be mentally unstable and unable to stand trial for the August 2017 death of Megan Dix.
Authorities say the 33-year-old Dix was having lunch in her vehicle in a Brockport park when Colino walked up and shot her in the head.
Colino has pleaded not responsible by reason of mental disease. She is currently 33.
In a series of bizarre YouTube videos, Colino accused strangers of stalking her and trying to steal her identity and imitate her appearance.
