BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) – Starting in November, Allegiant will add nonstop service from Elmira Corning Regional Airport to Punta Gorda Airport.

Starting November 13, fliers can get one-way tickets on the new route for as low as $69.

The new seasonal route will operate twice weekly. With the addition of this new route, Allegiant will serve three cites from Elmira Corning Regional Airport.

“We’re excited to offer Elmira-area travelers a new, nonstop option for travel to Punta Gorda,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We know local area residents will love our convenient, affordable service to head to beautiful southwest Florida this winter.”

“The community is excited about the new direct service to Punta Gorda / southwest Florida,” said Tom Freeman, director of aviation at Elmira Corning Regional Airport. “Allegiant has had a major impact in solidifying ELM as the gateway airport to the southern tier of New York and northern Pennsylvania.”
