Corning City Councilwoman seeks re-election
CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- Corning City Councilwoman Kate Paterson said she's seeking another term to represent the 2nd ward on city council.
Paterson, who's called the Crystal City home for 20 years, was first elected to the council back in 2017. Paterson says she recently worked with city staff to update Corning's 20-year-old zoning laws during her service on the Code Committee. She says if re-elected, she wants to use her experience to improve city parks, streets, sidewalks, and housing.
The election for Corning City Council will be held on November 5th.
