ELMIRA, N.Y.(WENY)-- If you were disappointed about the cancellation of Woodstock 50, Wisner Market wanted to ease everyone's pain with their first annual Woofstock. The market partnered up with the Chemung County SPCA to raise funds for their shelter. The night consisted of food, drinks, live music, and of course adoptable dogs!

"It's been a great event so far, and it was a fantastic turnout earlier, obviously the weather was a little bit rainy, just like the real Woodstock but not quiet so bad, so a little bit quiet but we still have a lot of people showing up with their dogs and having a good time going around and enjoying the music. And I'm really really please so hopefully we'll do it again next year," says Matthew Guagliardo, Director of Community Relations, Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA.

Unfortunately Woofstock did have to come to a close early due to the sever weather coming through the Twin Tiers. If you would still like a Woofstock T-shirt or to donate to the Chemung County SPCA, they are always accepting donations. They do anticipate to hold this event again next year.
