ENDICOTT, NY (WENY) - Horseheads native Joey Sindelar began the final round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open 9 strokes back of the lead, but that didn't stop him from grinding in Sunday's round and working his way up the leaderboard.

Sindelar was one of the hottest players on the course after his first 10 holes, going 5-under over that span to be 7-under for the tournament and tied for 16th. A bogey on the back nine would bring him back to 6-under, and that's where he would finish.

WENY's Ryan Campbell spoke with Joey after his round and overall, he is very pleased with where his game is after this weekend back home.
