ENDICOTT, NY (WENY) - Sunday was a big day at En-Joie Golf Club as the PGA Tour Champions players battled it out to see who could claim this year's Dick's Sporting Goods Open title.

As the day progressed, two players really stuck out from the rest of the field and that was Doug Barron and World Golf Hall of Fame Member, Fred Couples. Couples tore his way through the course on Sunday, carding a 9-under, 63 to take the outright lead after his round. However Barron was right behind him, and it didn't take long for him to tie things back up at -15 going into the tournament's second weather delay of the weekend. Then Barron sank two clutch birdies on holes 15 and 17 after the delay, which gave him a two stroke lead and practically sealed the deal for the tournament.

Barron had to play in a Monday qualifier just to make the tournament this weekend, and it turned into a thrilling and emotional win for him.

WENY's Ryan Campbell brings you a final round recap, and you will also hear from Doug Barron after his thrilling victory.
