HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) -- For the fans of Horseheads Brewing, the wait is finally over as it's back up and running.

The brewery had a soft opening this week with it's grand opening being on Friday. Ten beers are on tap right now for people to go in and try out. Horseheads Brewing was sold to new owners late last year. General manager, Trevor Davis, says he's excited for what the future holds at the brewery.

"The new owners, they really want us to just be able to express ourselves through the beer, through the experience, and really just have fun with it," said Davis. "Like I said, make people happy and support this awesome community that is the Horseheads area."

He went on to say there will be a lot of new beers mixed with the old. The brewery will also be hosting food trucks on the site for people to enjoy a bite to eat. Horseheads Brewing is owned by the Lilly family, who also own WENY's parent company, Lilly Broadcasting.
