Car accident involving motorcycle in Ashland
UPDATE (8/29) According to the Chemung County Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries. He was checked out by on-scene paramedics, but did not go to the hospital.
The driver of the car was ticketed for unsafe passing. Police say the driver was in the biker's lane in an attempt to pass another car and was not able to return to his lane in time.
ASHLAND, N.Y. (WENY) -- After a car crash involving a motorcycle on Wednesday night, first responders had to block off a portion of Lower Maple Avenue in Ashland.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. near Tory Meadow Drive.
There's no word yet if anyone was injured, or the cause of the crash.
