NICHOLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tioga County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a Nichols man in connection with Friday's armed robbery at Community Bank.

Adam M. Robinson, 31, is accused of displaying a pistol while demanding money after he entered the bank on East River Road in Nichols.

According to the Star Gazette, Robinson has been charged with felony counts of first-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, and first-degree criminal use of a firearm.

He has been sent to the Tioga County Jail with bail set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for today at 11 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
