ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) – The Ithaca Police Department says they are looking for people that may have witnessed the shooting near the Commons on Wednesday.

Police say new information has led them to believe that there were two vehicles in the immediate area of the shooting as it happened.

As WENY News reported, on Wednesday, a Rochester man was shot at least three times outside the Green Street Parking Garage. He was taken to a local trauma center where he underwent surgery; his condition is unknown.

One man, Woodrow Turner, was arrested on scene and is accused of being an accomplice.

Police say they are still looking for 33-year-old Andrae Martin, who they believe was the gunman.

IPD says the vehicles they are searched for were not involved in the shooting, but rather police believe they may have information that could aid in the investigation.

Anyone with information related to these two vehicles, or the shooting overall, is asked to contact IPD at 607-272-3245.
