Chemung County, N.Y. (WENY) – This week's adoptable pet at the Chemung County SPCA is Bumble. Bumble is a 3-month-old kitten.

Matt Guagliardo, with the SPCA, says Bumble is playful and likes to run around. Bumble has a sibling named Bee. They both just came out of foster care and are looking for a home they would fit into. Guagliardo says the kind of home Bumble would fit into is a home that has space for him to run around. Guagliardo also suggests a cat tree or cat shelves on a wall would be beneficial. Their mother, Robin is also with the SPCA. The whole family is up for adoption.

Today is the first day of a four-week long donation competition between two local bars, Finger Lakes House and Tealls. Both bar owners invited the SPCA to participate in a donation drive. Guagliardo says the way it works is the winning bar will host a party and the owner of the losing bar will be in a dunk tank at the party. The party will be in October. The way people to participate is to show up to either bar and donate items. Different items are worth a different amount of points. The rules are simple, the bar with the most points wins.
