ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- We are about a month away from from the beginning of the Broadway Series at the Clemens Center. This years series begins October 18th and we visited the Clemens Center this afternoon to learn more.

This event was for anyone to find out about their subscriber benefits, and some of the benefits include seeing what seats are available for the upcoming Broadway series and you even got to choose the seat of your choice.

"It's a five show package, very affordable for folks at different price levels available depending on where you sit. We start with A Bronx Tale in October and then we got The Color Purple, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Fiddler on the Roof and then we go into June with An American in Paris," said Karen Cromer, Executive Director at the Clemens Center.

We also spoke with Karen on how this years series is different from the previous years.

Karen said, "We are really excited about this lineup this year. Last year we had a lot of family friendly programming, this year's a little more mature in subject manor, but we also have special attractions that are available. So, we open in early October with The office, a musical parody."
